We are working on one implementation project in CTM for a pharma Industry. They use Shelf Life Propagation with some small enhancements at DC to allow the heuristic to not consider stock past shelf life in the netting logic so that additional stock is planned. Now we are planning to implement CTM For the Finished Goods Manufacturing sites and the Semi-Finished Goods Manufacturing sites to take advantage of the cross site dependencies when leveling the capacities across the resources in the plants.
Following are the questions:
1.) SAP Help states CTM considers shelf life constraints in a restricted way??What is this restricted way??One of the statements is Shelf Life propagation is not considered in CTM?Can anyone throw more light on CTM Restrictions for shelf life planning??
2.) We are trying to determine whether the combined solution of SNP Heuristics with Shelf Life Propagation for one half the network and CTM with the restriction that does not consider shelf life propagation will cause a conflict?
