I have created a monthly report that a department would now like to receive by semester - 3 times over the course of the year from:
- 1 August – 1 January
- 1 January – 1 June
- 1 June – 1 August
This worked perfectly in monthly format grouping the 'creation_date' field by month using the Group Options "This section will be printed" and "for each month".
There is no option to select the time periods above. I wondered if its possible to do this using a formula and if so, how?
I tried removing the "for each month" option but a few of my formulas in the report reference the "monthly" time period and they throw up errors when this has been changed.
