Digital transformation is the buzz word of the moment. Everyone speaks about digital, some started to transform, some are testing some ideas, and others are trying to understand what that can means for them. But beware, the wind of Uberization in the Utilities may raise faster and harder than you think! Companies in your sector or in other industries may disrupt you as some already started to do like Tesla and Google.

The Workshop 10: Exploring the Value of Digitalization in Utilities, held at 2016 International SAP Conference for Utilities, is the place to have clarity on the opportunities for digital transformation for your company and learn how to identify and assess them. This will be also a great opportunity to exchange experience with other workshop participants.

Utilities need to reinvent themselves to adapt and transform to stay relevant and compete – it is time to re-imagine everything. This workshop will give you an understanding of SAP’s vision for the digital utility, learn what are the digital trends, the new digital business models, how to ideate to find how to re-imagine your company, learn how you can assess your digital maturity with the IDC – SAP maturity framework. Finally, learn about the value drivers and how to quantify them to justify a digital transformation.

In the workshop we will brainstorm on new business models for utilities centered on customer experience and desires, you will understand how to innovate with the IoT and why you also need to digitize your core enterprise.

I am looking forward to seeing you in The Hague
