Planning with composite provider not clear

Hi everybody,

we are contemplating using composite provider in our planning scenario and on a number of issues it is not clear to us how to go about such a use-case.

Please note we have read:

Planning on Composite Provider

https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1kZSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/sno/ui_entry/entry.htm?param=69765F6D6F64653D3030312669765F7361…

First:

Out first attempt to create a composite provider based on an aggregation level yielded the folllowing error: "Contains complex aggregation level". It is a plain vanilla union composite provider based on a single aggregation level. Any suggeestions what is going wrong?

Second:

In the thread above Gregor writes: " don't forget to use the prefix "@3" when you create the aggregation level". When trying to create an aggregation level with the prefix "@3" in our system we get a name space error, Anybody got any idea what Gregor mean to say with that statement?

Third:

From the SAP docu in the link above can somebody please explain what this statement means:

  • contains mapping on characterisitc from one info object to another including local info objects

At this moment we are on: Embedded BI 7.4 SP12

We will soon be on: Embedded BI 7.5 SP01
