We have below landscape , it’s a distributed environment .
DEV- Single host and Lumira, Server for BI Platform
QUA ->2 Web servers ( Running Tomcat only ) , 1 Application server (Running Tomcat and SIA ) and a Lumira,Server for BI platform (1.28 Update)
PROD->2 Web servers ( Running Tomcat only ) , 2 Application servers (Running Tomcat and SIA ) and a Lumira, Server for BI platform(1.28 Update)
We need your inputs to update Lumira 1.29.3 Update and Web applications in the landscape .
In a distributed environment,
1)do we need to have Tomcat running in App server where we already have dedicated tomcats running ?
2)When Installing Lumira Update , do we need to install in all Web servers and all Application servers ?
3)To update with Web Application for mobile , do we need to update the installer in all Web servers and App servers as well ?
Our understanding is
1.Install Lumira in App servers only , no need to install in Web servers
2.update Web applications for mobile in web servers only ,no need to update in App servers
Since the App servers also running Tomcat , we doubt we need to install Lumira in every server and update it for Web applications (except in Lumira, for BI Platform).
