Start/Release date of production orders

Hi Experts,

There is no scheduling functionality in SBO (we and many other customers miss it), but another main problem is, that on the production order you can only see PostDate, and DueDate, BUT there is no START Date. So how do you know when to start / release the production order?

(Note: If you run MRP and save it's recommendations, there is a Release Date field in the recommendations table (OCRM) for Production orders, which

is the closest "thing" to the start date of the production order, BUT this information "vanishes" when you generate a real document from the recommendation. I really can't understand, why SAP "loses" this information during the generating, and why is it there if you can't work with it and use it later on the production order.)

So what I'm trying to do, is add a 2 UDFs to the production order (the reason for 2 fields is, in a few cases they do not have the same value):

- "Real" START Date - it can be written by hand (this date should be equal to the further value of OWOR.RlsDate), based on the second UDF,

- Planned START Date - add value to this by FMS.

The problem is, in the FMS query it's not enough if I deduct the duedate of the order with the leadtime of the item (ORDR.DueDate - OITM.Leadtime), since I have to count with the weekends and if it's poossible with holidays also. An example:

- Item's Leadtime is 7 days, add production order with Due date of 2015/12/14, (to be simple, no holidays are in the period)

- In the START date field should appear 2015/12/03, since there is 2 Saturdays and Sundays in the period.

Any help for the query would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ferenc
